Using the Use & Care

explain controls to the customer.
- Review the Use & Care guide Table of
Contents with customer.
- Explain Customer Assistance 800#.
- Show location of Model/Serial # tag.
- Instruct customer to discard first few
batches of ice and 6 glasses of water (if this is an ice/water unit).
- Check that the refrigerator light is on when
the door is opened.
- Check to verify freezer fan is running.
- Test operation of ice/water dispenser.
- Explain normal refrigerator noises (ice cubes
falling into ice bin, excessive compressor run times, fill valve opening, etc.).
- Ask consumer to fill out warranty card.
