Range Operational Checklist
- Using the Use & Care guide, Set the oven
to Bake at 350 degrees.
- Gas Range – Explain that oven may take
up to one minute to ignite.
- Electric Range – Elements may be HOT at
instant of start up but not "Red" for several minutes.
- Test top burners for proper operation (spark
ignition burners should light within 4-6 seconds).
- Give consumer Use & Care guide, review
Table of Contents.
- Explain Customer Assistance 800#.
- Show location of model/serial # tag.
- With the consumer, check and explain.
- Cooktop area can/does get hot.
- Broiling with door open (electric), door
closed (gas).
Ask consumer to fill out warranty card.
