KitchenAid KD01 and Whirlpool 1000 Series Dishwashers Key Installation Points

• Have the electrical and plumbing ready before unit is pushed into place
  (use braided water line).

• These units must be installed level and plumb! (All legs and wheels, or shims,
  must be touching the floor when you check this).

• Mount the dishwasher with the top or side-mounting brackets
  (use floor-mounting kit #4378968 if you can’t mount it to the top or side).

• Do not remove the drain loop that is mounted on the left side of the tank!
  The loop is needed for the soil sensor to work. You still need to install a loop
  in the drain line (20 inches from the floor).

• Make sure the front edge seal is sealed all the way around the counter top
  and cabinet front for noise reduction.
