BELOW IS SOME IMPORTANT INFORMATION THAT SHOULD ANSWER MOST OF YOUR QUESTIONS ABOUT THE TRAINING SESSION AND YOUR TIME AT THE WHIRLPOOL REGIONAL TRAINING CENTER YOU ARE ATTENDING:

 ON-LINE TRAINING SESSIONS: After you register you will receive an e-mail message that
will give you instructions on how to access 3 on-line training sessions. These training sessions
are provided at no additional charge to you. It will greatly improve your knowledge of
Electricity and Meter usage as it relates to the appliances you will train on at the RTC. If you
do not complete these training sessions, it may be very difficult for you to follow along during
the week’s activities at the RTC.

MOTEL INFORMATION: If you have requested a motel room, a room will be reserved in your name to arrive on Monday the week of your training session, checking out on Friday morning before you leave for the Training Center. Please be advised that we do not make these reservations until 5 - 7 days before the start of your training session. Remember ALL additional charges (i.e. extra nights, room service, phone calls, movies, etc.) are YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AND MUST BE HANDLED DIRECTLY with the motel at time of check out. TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION: The only transportation that is provided is between the motel and the Training Center. If you have requested transportation, the shuttle will pick you up outside of the motel lobby and depart PROMPTLY at 8:00am each morning. You will be returned to the motel from the Training Center each evening by the shuttle at approximately 5:00pm. If you are flying into your RTC location remember it will be your responsibility to get to the motel upon your arrival and to the airport on Friday at the conclusion of your training session. The only two motels that provide airport shuttle service is the motel in Tulsa, OK and Boston, MA.

You must call the motel upon your arrival for pick-up. For all other RTC locations you would need to rent a car use a door-to-door shuttle service or you could take a cab. If you are using a door-to door shuttle service or renting a car you may want to call and make a reservation in advance. Don’t forget your return trip on Friday. TRAINING SESSION INFORMATION: All training sessions will start promptly at 8:30am and end at approximately 5:00pm each day, with the exception of Friday when we will end at 2:00pm. We would suggest that departing flight arrangements be planned to depart no earlier then 5:00pm on Friday.

MEAL INFORMATION: A full continental breakfast is provided at the motel. Coffee, juice and assorted pastries will be available at the Training Center each day. A complete hot lunch will be served each day at the Training Center. The cost of breakfast and lunch are included in your registration fee. Dinner each evening will be on your own with several restaurants in close proximity to the motel.

DRESS CODE: This is a hands on student participation training session. You will be tearing down product and performing certain service techniques that require individual and group participation. Please wear appropriate clothing. We would recommend that you would dress as if you were going into a consumer’s home to repair an appliance. PLEASE BE PROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!

TOOLS & MATERIAL INFORMATION: None required. All tools, meters, and training material will be provided at the Training Center.
